Refined Proportions: The Graham Cutler Collection

From the 1970s to 1990s, Mr Cutler kept his personal frame collection tucked in a drawer in the Knightsbridge store. When slighter customers came through the door, Mr Cutler would rifle through and find a frame that suited.

This was the blueprint for the Graham Cutler collection: a continuous curation of glasses and sunglasses that condense our distinctive designs into refined dimensions.

Profile and Proportion

The latest collection of Cutler and Gross glasses and sunglasses introduces four new shapes to the repertoire. From Jack Kerouac and his Beat contemporaries to Arthur Miller’s bespectacled style, each design draws inspiration from the creative cognoscenti.

GR05 Optical

The framework of the GR05 optical sort inspiration from the literary legends of the Beat movement. Shaped to a squared profile with extended lugs, the Cutler and Gross glasses pay tribute to styles worn by the likes of Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac.

The GR05 is the smallest frame in production.

GR06 Optical and Sunglass

The visual artistry of Andy Warhol in the 60s and 70s inspired the GR06 optical and sunglass. It is handcrafted to a rounded pantos silhouette with a flattened browline and sculptural milling.

All Graham Cutler frames have integrated nosepads that can be adjusted in-store for the perfect fit.

GR07 Optical

The delicate flat top of the GR07 takes inspiration from Graham Cutler’s personal frames in the 70s and 80s. It is structured with a keyhole bridge and high-set lugs, while bevelling creates subtle depth.

Polished Compass Star pins detail the frontal and temples.

The elegant academia of playwright Arthur Miller in the 60s shaped the GR08 optical and sunglass. It is handcrafted with an undulating browline that culminates in winged lugs.
